Facts about me…

Here are a few facts about me you might not know. A little insight on what might be shaping my perceptions.

 

Facts about my Family

• I am married to a wonderful man, (Bobby), who is a Veteran of the US Army.

• A momma of 3 (Massey, Austan, & Gracie) and a stepmom of 2 (Summer & John).

• I have 2 children with Cystic Fibrosis (Massey & Gracie).

Facts about my beliefs

• A sinner, born again, and saved by grace, washed in the blood.

• I believe that sometimes we overthink things and should just have Faith.

• I am not religious, per say, but I am a child of God, saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. Not rooted in the superficial traditions of the Church, but in God’s Truth, Grace, and Mercy.

• Believing that in this world, God has provided us with what we need to be successful, as a person and society, if we will just listen.

• Certainly not perfect and will not claim to be.

• Holding tight to the truth, even when it is not pretty.

• I believe we do not know everything and sometimes we are just wrong.

• I have the mindset that if the answer is no, then I just haven’t provided you with what you need to say yes.

• Will never giving up, EVER!

• I believe our reputation and what people think of us are the only things we actually leave in this world after we are gone. How do you want to be remembered?

Facts about my health

• I am a TBI survivor. Obtained from a motorcycle wreck on October 24, 2008.

• Struggle with a version of Flat Effect.

• I believe my hypothalamus, hippocampus, and amygdala are all kinda jacked up.

• Suffering from memory issues.

• I have a paralyzed 4th cranial nerve.

• Also, suffer from Aphasia. A condition where I am truly at a loss for words...lol.

• Sensitivity to certain sounds.

Facts about my hobby's and habits

• Love to read books that elevate me as a person.

• I love trying and/or learning new stuff.

• Love listening to Casting Crowns, Third Day, Lauren Daigle, and when I really want to get lost in worship, most often you will find me listening to Hillsong.

• I also love to listen to a little riding music provided by Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band Radio station on Pandora.

• I love a good cup of coffee, but also, a little Irish Whiskey. Especially a glass of Jameson and Sprite.

• Fun Fact...I am know in the neighborhood for my deviled eggs...lol.

• Try really hard not to use foul language, but in anger or frustration, a word or two may slip.

•  I have tattoos.
